Bridging Communities from Manund, Sander, Balisana, Valam & Bhandu
The community migrated from Manund, Sander, Balisana, Valam & Bhandu, the 5 villages of Northern part of Gujarat province of India and residing in Ontario province of Canada had established a group namely 5 Gaam Samaj, Canada in 2012.
Panch Gam Samaj, Canada is a Canadian registered not-for-profit organization with Corporation number - , established to assist, encourage and support Seniors, Youth, Students and Kids and their families in community collaboration and development through execution of need-based programs on health and wellness, recreation and cultural development by organizing programs and events that reduces isolation among community and promotes and celebrates the rich culture and traditions of the Indo-Canadian Gujarati Community. We are a vibrant group of over 150 families means total members are around 500 which includes seniors, youths, students & kids living in Ontario Province. Aims and Vision
To connect, collaborate and create positive change in the social, cultural and economic development of community and their families. The main aims of this group is to made help available in any forms at the time of needs arrived for new migrants of the community, Students, Kids, and Seniors of the community as whole.
To develop and cultivate heritage and cultural values among the members and their families by way of get together, cultural program, celebration of religious and national days, promoting cultural and religious activities.
To provide help to the people of community in pandemic and/or natural calamity and to provide training to students and kids for volunteering for seniors and needy community.
Mission
In partnership with government, businesses and community organizations, we will create opportunities for community engagement and sustainable development towards a better future of community and their families through events, programs and services that can foster healthy, vibrant and inclusive communities.
